Interventional Radiologists use imaging guidance such as X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan to perform minimally invasive therapies. Through a tiny nick in the skin, miniature catheters and instruments can be run through a patient's network of arteries, veins or other pathways to treat directly at the site of illness internally.
